SalaryVets4Pets Watford Century is looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join our friendly and established team. This position is for a full-time vet, but we’re flexible, being able to set up for the right candidate a more flexible or even part-time position.
We’re looking for a Veterinary Surgeon confident with all routine medical and surgical cases, and ideally someone able to support a new graduate. We offer a generous CPD allowance, and we’re open to talk about funding a certificate to help you achieve your career goals. The full-time rota is in a 4-day week pattern which will give you a weekday off. There will also be a Saturday rota but no out of hours cover is required. We are very open to discuss the rota and possible flexible hours to fit around your lifestyle.
The practice is purpose-built with 3 consult rooms, a dedicated theatre, an in-house lab, a digital X-ray, and ultrasound. In essence we have all that you need to deliver a high standard of care to all of our patients. We see an above average number of rabbits and exotic animals, and a reasonable proportion of our clients are insured allowing us to work up cases to a high standard. You’ll be joining a supportive team led by our JVP / Lead Vet and our Practice Manager, as well as experienced RVNs, Veterinary Care Assistants and Client Care Advisors.
