It is well equipped with a Cardiac ultrasound, Dental x-rays, a K-laser, an aseptic theatre and prep room, endoscopes and full in-house lab for bloods, biochemistry and urine, spacious waiting room and consult rooms, separate dog kennels, cattery and exotic ward with lots of exotic cases, including birds, primates, reptiles, snakes.

Role Accountabilities
- Perform a wide range of surgical procedures.
- Conduct thorough pre and post-operative assessments.
- Develop treatment plans and provide clients with care instructions.
- Utilise diagnostic laboratory, imaging and ultrasound testing.
- Prescribe medication.
- Promote preventative care by advocating and administering routine vaccinations and immunisations
- Educate clients on positive lifestyle choices for their pets.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to members of the support team.
- Compliance with veterinary ethics and relevant statutes, policies and procedures.
- Maintain patients’ medical records.
Your Skills And Experience
- You must be a Veterinary Surgeon who is registered with the RCVS.
- Ideally we are looking for an experience colleague however new and recent graduates will be considered. Your ability to fit in with the team and treat our clients with compassion and care is the most important ability.
- A part time role will be considered too for the right candidate so do not let the full time advert put you off applying! Out of hours is provided between us and another local practice, and shifts are fairly shared between the team.
- Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Medicine (BVetMed) or equivalent.
- Registration with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS).
- Ability to provide compassionate care and ensure the well-being of animals.
- Ability to explain medical conditions and treatment plans clearly to clients with empathy and compassion.
- Willingness to work collaboratively with other veterinary professionals, including veterinary nurses and support staff.
- Adherence to high ethical standards in veterinary practice.
