Are you a passionate Veterinary Surgeon looking for a fulfilling part-time role? Look no further! We're thrilled to invite you to become a valued member of our warm and friendly team at our Thornbury Practice to cover maternity leave.
We have an excellent opportunity for a part-time Veterinary Surgeon to shine with us. We understand the importance of work-life balance, so you'll enjoy a flexible schedule that accommodates your commitments. Working Monday and Tuesday with one of these days being your dedicated ops day – initially on a Maternity Cover basis. We are flexible on hours to fit around your commitments, but on one of the days you would be required to work until 7PM, as part of a fair share of the consulting rota.

We're on the lookout for a dedicated individual who is committed to clinical excellence, exceptional patient care, and maintaining high standards. Being a fantastic team player is essential to us. You'll be immersed in all aspects of first opinion work, supported by an experienced and collaborative team.

Our Support:

We've got your back! You'll have the backing of a 24-hour hospital service within the Rowe family. Our supportive colleagues across all 5 Rowe Vet Group sites, as well as our Referral Service, will be there to assist you. While you'll participate in a 1:8 day weekend rota at the Hospital and a 1:8 branch Saturday morning, there's no on-call or night work required.

Practice Highlights:

Our practice offers the capabilities of a larger facility combined with the close-knit feel of a smaller team. You'll have access to advanced equipment including digital X-ray, dental X-ray, ultrasound, and state-of-the-art anaesthetic monitoring equipment. Our separate dog and cat wards, cat-friendly operating theatre, and acupuncture services make us stand out.

The Ideal Candidate:

We're looking for a Veterinary Surgeon with excellent consultation and surgical skills. Approachability and a consultative approach are vital for success in this role. If you're interested in further education, our Clinical Lead is here to guide and support you, whether you want to specialize or enhance your surgical and ultrasound skills.
