We are excited to be recruiting a new Vice Principal and Chief Academic Officer, who will work collaboratively with the Executive and College Leadership Team to ensure outstanding performance for our students and commercial partners.
This vacancy also comes at an exciting time for the College which will have a ground-breaking new learning campus in Dunfermline due to open during the 2025/26 academic year, and with record numbers of our successful students advancing to work and further study.
The Vice Principal will provide vision, leadership, inspiration and motivation to curriculum and commercial partnerships teams within the remit of the post, aligned to the refreshed 2025-29 college strategy. This will ensure outstanding student and customer experience, and an excellent environment for all our colleagues to develop, innovate, and deliver for our communities.
The postholder will deliver outstanding learning experiences and successful course completion for students through efficient and effective resourcing, delivery, guidance, and support.
The successful candidate will be values driven and a highly motivated team player who has inspirational leadership skills. We want to work with proactive and strategic senior colleagues, ambitious for being part of a significant change and improvement journey, with values that root them in outstanding community-centred learning.
As well as an outstanding track record of achievement as a senior academic professional within a large organisation, you will have a good understanding of the role of colleges in providing a quality learning and teaching environment that delivers personal, social, cultural, and economic benefits and operates effectively within a commercial environment.
Fife College is one of the largest and most ambitious skills organisations in East Central Scotland, a major regional employer, and a respected public body.
