Video Editor

We're looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Video Editor, looking to immerse themself in a new and exciting Youtube project! This project is a weekly vlog series highlighting the highs and lows of running multiple construction businesses in the UK, and the life of a dynamic, young business owner who is making it all happen, transparent and full of highs and lows.

I’m aiming to expand and grow my businesses through social media, something I have always shied away from but now with a real growth plan and vision it can't be ignored. The channel offers an open and honest insight into the operations of my businesses, with the aim to promote collaborations and investments for future ventures. So far, we’re about 10 videos in, and the impact has already been immense. Here’s a link to the channel:

Your Role:

As our primary Video Editor, you'll weave together engaging 30ish minute weekly vlogs, alongside crafting compelling short-form content for platforms like Instagram. Your work will be central to growing our channel from the ground up, creating narratives that captivate and engage our audience. You’ll be working closely with my project leader on this, a fun and enthusiastic, marketing-minded content creator, who is incharge of, and committed to, all aspects of this project.

We’re Looking for Someone Who:

- Is passionate about YouTube and social media content creation.

- Has a clear vision and excitement for building something from the early stages.

- Is a fast-paced, committed, and organised professional who can deliver high-quality work swiftly.

- Excels in storytelling through video editing, with a tasteful eye for video grading and graphics.

- Is proficient in Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or similar editing software.

- Thrives in a collaborative environment, willing to work closely with the videographer/project leader.

- Is a fantastic communicator, able to follow briefs, implement feedback, and contribute ideas for channel growth.

- Can commute to our office near Cranleigh, Surrey, and is available to work on-site on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

Requirements:

A portfolio showcasing your video editing skills.

Experience/ability in creating narratives and engaging content for YouTube and other social media platforms.

Willingness to work full-time on this project.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
