Purpose of Role
We are looking for an experienced videographer, editor and graphic designer to support in the development and delivery of videos and graphics for use on social media, website and proposals.
The ideal candidate will be flexible to travel nationally to MHA offices and some event venues. You will be working with a variety of stakeholders across the firm including the marketing sector leads, Partners, and MHA clients. You will need to be very professional and organized and able to ‘direct’ in a warm, personable and organised way. Although the majority of the time you will not need to identify video opportunities yourself, rather, you will be given a brief, being able to work with the marketing team as a whole to come up with your own ideas to support their roles and responsibilities would be a great asset and advantage. You will be expected to manage each project from planning to completion of edited video ready to be published.

Main responsibilities
- Take a brief and plan out the visualization of it.
- Understand the end use of the requested video to ensure the correct format, length and style
- Understand the number of people to be filmed, create a time plan and advise of maximum length for script/s
- Coordinate filming times and locations.
- Be experienced filming with and without a green screen
- Have high levels of attention to detail when filming without green screen and have vision to create/locate a pleasing and professional backdrop.
- Experience in the use of filming angles and lighting to suit end video styles.
- Experience filming with mobile, tripod and lapel microphones.
- Ability to ‘direct’ in a professional, respectful and relaxed way to put your film subjects at ease and understand exactly what they need to do.
- Experienced in working within strict brand guidelines.
- Able to pull out key points and highlight with graphics and relevant stock footage to enhance message and keep videos engaging and interesting.
- Be creative and keep up with video ‘trends’ to ensure the firm is keeping up with not only competitors but how people are engaging with and consuming content, to ensure you are keeping MHA abreast with technology and consumer engagement habits.
Qualifications and Skils
- Experienced in editing within Adobe Premier Pro
- Experience in remixing soundtrack lengths within Adobe Audition
- Experience in remixing soundtrack lengths within Adobe Audition
- Experienced at using Adobe InDesign and Photoshop
- Experience in the use of filming angles and lighting to suit end video styles.
- Experience filming with mobile, tripod and lapel microphones.
- Competent user of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Experience with creating podcasts an advantage
- Experience with creating animation an advantage
- Experience with working with professional services firms an advantage
