We are seeking a skilled and experienced Vinyl Floor Layer who is also proficient in screeding floors to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing Vinyl Flooring and preparing surfaces for installation by screeding. Your duties will include:
- Measuring and cutting Vinyl Flooring material to fit designated areas accurately.
- Preparing subfloors by cleaning, levelling, and applying primer as needed.
- Screeding floors to create a smooth and level surface for Vinyl Flooring installation.
- Installing Vinyl Flooring using appropriate adhesives and techniques to ensure a durable and attractive finish.
- Inspecting completed work to ensure quality and compliance with specifications.
- Collaborating with project managers and other tradespeople to coordinate tasks and meet project deadlines.
- Adhering to health and safety regulations and company policies at all times.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Vinyl Floor Layer and Screeder.
- Proficiency in installing various types of Vinyl Flooring.
- Experience in screeding floors using traditional and self-levelling techniques.
- Attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality workmanship.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Valid driver's license and own transportation preferred.
- Must be willing to commute
