Virtual Events Executive

We are looking for a Virtual Events Executive to join Dementia UK’s successful Community, Events and Innovation fundraising team, helping to co-ordinate a portfolio of virtual fundraising events raising over £3.5m annually. One in two of us will be affected by dementia in our lifetime – either by caring for someone with the condition, developing it ourselves, or both. Dementia UK is the specialise dementia nursing charity that is there for the whole family, providing support and expert advice, and this role provides an opportunity to fundraise for a vital cause. As the Virtual Events Executive you will be responsible for the end-to-end project management of Virtual Events, including delivering marketing plans with the support of an agency to bolster participant engagement and revenue as well as curating stewardship journeys that ensure exceptional supporter experiences.
To be a successful Virtual Events Executive you will need:

• A proven track record of coordinating successful fundraising events or campaigns
• Excellent organisation and project management skills and experience in developing strong internal and external working relationships
• Experience of working with external agencies on events or campaigns
• Strong understanding or experience of marketing channels, especially in driving engagement for challenge events through digital platforms such as Facebook

Salary: £30,000-£33,500
Location: Hybrid – 2 days per week in Aldgate office
