Job description

Our client is seeking a quick thinking and confident Visiting Officer to join their business!

You will work remotely and manage a portfolio of commercial buildings in the Swindon area; you will visit each property using your own vehicle within 28 days of them being submitted and ensure they are visited once every 4 months.

You will work independently from your home, the business will provide you with a laptop and work telephone.

Salary: £21,855-£25,710 depending on experience

Working hours: Very flexible to start and finish between 9am - 5pm

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Conduct NNDR inspection visits and advice relating to all manner of discounts and exemptions.
  • Support members of the public in completing applications\changes in relation to NNDR.
  • Gather\verify evidence in conjunction with assessments.
  • Hand deliver notification of recovery intention\outcomes to members of the businesses.
  • Produce and deliver completion notices.
  • Produce reports relating to the visits.
  • Provide basic revenues processing duties.
  • Assist in the preparation and processing of relief reviews.

Requirements: 

- Full driving license and vehicle

- Confident and independent to work alone

- Confident to plan routes for all visits within the Swindon area
