Job title: Visiting Officer
Salary:£22,142 to £23,653 pro rata per annum
Contract: Fixed Term Post until 31/03/2025
Work pattern: 17.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Location: Sanquhar

About the role
The primary role of the Visiting Officer is to check on the wellbeing of residents living in Wheatley Homes South, or our partners sheltered housing developments, while promoting and encouraging independence. The Visiting Officer will provide housing support where required and will liaise with families and other agencies about the welfare of residents when needed.
Welfare checks will be done through the care call system; by telephone or by visiting the person in their home. The frequency of these will be based on individual needs.
Who are we looking for?
The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar support environment and have a sound understanding of the Health and Social Care Standards.

The post is subject to PVG registration.
