SalaryOur client is seeking a quick thinking and confident Visiting Officer to join their business!
You will work remotely and manage a portfolio of commercial buildings in the Swindon and Somerset area; you will visit each property using your own vehicle within 28 days of them being submitted and ensure they are visited once every 4 months.
You will work independently from your home, the business will provide you with a laptop and work telephone.
Salary: £28,000 per annum
Working hours: Very flexible to start and finish between 9am - 5pm
Roles and responsibilities:
- Conduct NNDR inspection visits and advice relating to all manner of discounts and exemptions.
- Support members of the public in completing applicationschanges in relation to NNDR.
- Gather erify evidence in conjunction with assessments.
- Hand deliver notification of recovery intentionoutcomes to members of the businesses.
- Produce and deliver completion notices.
- Produce reports relating to the visits.
- Provide basic revenues processing duties.
- Assist in the preparation and processing of relief reviews.
Requirements:
- Full driving license and vehicle
- Confident and independent to work alone
- Confident to plan routes for all visits within the Swindon area
