Main Duties
Royal Museums Greenwich is a collection of diverse historical sites. The sites are the National Maritime Museum, Cutty Sark, the Royal Observatory, and the Queen’s House. Each of these sites has a unique identity and a common purpose to serve our communities, through sharing our collections and expertise. We are recruiting Visitor and Sales Assistants! We would love to hear from you if you are an excellent communicator, you understand what makes great customer service and you have a willingness to learn new skills.
Visitor & Sales Assistants provide a great visitor experience in our galleries, on admissions and in our shops at our sites. We are looking to fill fixed-term contracts until 30th September and 31st October, depending on the site.
The types of hours available are:
- Full time – 33.75 hours per week, on a rota including weekends and bank holidays. Shifts are 6.75 hours per day. Salary: £21,053.00 per annum. We can also offer part-time positions.
- Lunch Cover – 4 hours per day shifts, usually from 11:30am-3:30pm. Salary: £12,476.00 per annum. We can also offer part time lunch cover positions i.e., working 3 or 4 days per week.
- Weekends – 13.5 hours per week, working Saturday and Sunday. Salary: £8,421.00 per annum.
