As part of the Visitor Experience team, you’ll be a warm, friendly support to volunteers helping to open the Abbey rooms creating a wonderful experience for visitors- playing a part in a fun, dynamic team.
This is our anticipated salary from 1st April but is subject to final confirmation following the Trust’s annual pay review process.
Reporting to the Senior Visitor Experience Officer, you’ll be part of a team of four working in the Visitor Experience team to create and support memorable experiences for visitors at Lacock Abbey.

What you'll be doingDay to day, you’ll be the main point of contact for the House Experience Volunteers supporting with the opening and closing of the visitor route. You’ll be a strong communicator sharing the conservation work and projects taking place with volunteers whilst feeding their responses and questions back up to the Senior Visitor Experience Officer.
You’ll be key for future planning and interpretation, gathering and collating visitor feedback seeing where the property’s focus could be looking to next.
