We have a new opportunity to join us as a Support Worker within our Voice and Participation Team.
This is a fantastic role where you can learn about WSCC services, and actively make a difference to young people’s lives in West Sussex.
You will support your team to enable all young people living in West Sussex to get their voice heard and help improve services.
There are a diverse range of tasks in this role, including:
- Supporting youth-led training.
- Helping organise events and activities.
- Enabling young people to take the lead to action change.
- Supporting young people with having their voice heard.
- Holding decision makers accountable for their courses of action.
- Using graphics for social media posts.
The job will involve some weekend and evening working to fit in with the lives of the children and young people you will be working with.
About you
We are looking for a ‘people person’; if you are approachable, can engage with children and young people and you are able to communicate with a variety of new people, we would love to hear from you!
