Role: Voice/VoIP Engineer
Duration: 12 months - with a view to extend
Location: Glasgow - 2 days per week
Pay Rate: £550 - £600 per day
IR35 Status: Inside IR35
Clearance: SC Clearance
One of my public sector clients are currently looking for a Voice/VoIP Engineer. They are looking for a Voice/VoIP Engineer to join them on a hybrid basis with travel to their offices based in Glasgow 2 days per week. This engagement will run on for an initial 12-month engagement - this does have a view to extend beyond this date.
They are interested in Voice/VoIP Engineers with experience of working in an Agile environment amongst multi-disciplinary teams. Past experience of working within the public sector would be ideal, but not necessary.
Requirements & Responsibilities:

• Good experience as a Voice Engineer with a focus on SIP, voice gateways, and SBCs.
• Experience with WebRTC voice and video protocols would be desirable.
• In-depth knowledge of SIP signalling, media flows, and troubleshooting methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with voice gateway configuration and management.
• Proficiency in configuring and managing Session Border Controllers (SBCs).
• Strong understanding of Quality of Service (QoS) principles in a voice environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
