Job description

A fantastic opportunity has emerged for a Voids & Allocations Co–ordinator to join one of Adecco's leading Housing Clients on a permanent contract. This a full time role based in East London (Monday to Friday 35hrs a week with HYBRID WORKING)
You will play a crucial role in being the primary point of contact for local authorities, prospective and existing residents wishing to move homes. You will be expected to provide assistance with technical issues, inquiries, or requests.Lead delivery of a high performing, customer focused service to customers in accordance with GHA service standards.Allocate homes to nominees in the most efficient manner, maximising rental income and delivering an excellent customer experience in the process.Produce a high–quality service that ensures compliance with standards set by GHA, local authorities and regulators as applicable.Working with Customer Services & Property Services teams collaboratively to reduce void times and continuously improve performance across all KPI's and resident satisfaction.INTERVIEWS ASAP – SALARY 35,000 – 36,118 (Depending on Experience)
Responsibilities withing the team:
To provide prompt and accurate resolutions to customer concerns, ensuring a positive customer experience and high first contact resolution rates. This role requires excellent communication skills, technical proficiency, and a customer–focused approach to problem–solving.
Accurately record customer interactions, issue details, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions in the relevant internal systems ensuring thorough and organised documentation.Advertise properties promptly on CBL websites using Nomination forms or Housing systems where appropriateTo let all available properties according to the prevailing lettings policies and proceduresEnsure best advice is applied and effective use of the available housing stock through, chain lettings, cross borough mobility and an efficient turnaround of vacant dwellingsResponsible for letting empty homes efficiently and according to the prevailing lettings policies, procedures and targets and provide regular updates to managementFacilitate, monitor, promote and mobility across our internal transfer list and mutual exchange demographic of customers, including determining nominations and the interpretation and application of the relevant lettings policiesAssist in developing our internal transfer list and to assist in helping us make the best use of our housing stock, including making recommendations for property alterations to help ease overcrowding or to help those customers who's circumstances have changed due to health reasonsLet all available social housing stock available to the Council according to the prevailing lettings policies and procedures including those available through the East London Seek to maximise the Housing Stock by promoting incentive schemes for moving to smaller accommodation and/or cash incentive schemes to appropriate applicants where appropriateRespond promptly, effectively and with special regard to standards of customer care to written and telephone enquiries and complaints from the public, Members, MPs, Ombudsman, internal and external stakeholders on all areas of responsibilityLiaise with the social housing providers outside the Borough to maximise housing opportunities for residentsOn behalf of the Council, attend Court and provide witness statements when required.Experience:
Previous experience in a customer service or technical support role is desirableExcellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain technical concepts in a clear and concise mannerPatience, empathy, and a customer–centric mindset to handle customer concerns with professionalism and careTechnical proficiency and familiarity with common software applications, operating systems, and troubleshooting toolsAbility to work well under pressure, manage multiple customer interactions simultaneously, and meet established performance targetsWe are Adecco Housing, part of The Adecco Group.
