Volunteer Engagement Officer

Battersea, London (with hybrid working options)

Our client actively works on a range of initiatives to create a better world for flying mammals. They’re passionate about preserving these unique creatures and are committed to welcoming like-minded individuals who share their dedication.

 

Our client is now looking for a Volunteer Engagement Officer on a part-time basis for a six month fixed-term contract, working 25 hours per week.

The Role

 

As a Volunteer Engagement Officer, you will ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the programme.

 

You’ll support the Survey Officer to administer the programme, building relationships with various organisations, engaging new volunteers, assisting with queries and contributing to the Annual Report.

 

Developing resources to engage new audiences and promote the introductory survey, you’ll create and schedule social media posts, invite people to share stories via social media and contribute to our client’s e-bulletin.

 

About You

 

To be considered as a Volunteer Engagement Officer, you will need:

 

- Experience of using social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, X and LinkedIn

- Basic experience of using Microsoft Word

- Good communication skills

- A sympathetic and friendly approach when dealing with people

- GCSEs in English Language & Maths (Grade A-C / 4-9) or equivalent

 

The closing date for this role is the 26th February 2024.
