VP - Bond Management

The Financial Markets Department covers both trading book and banking book activities for BOC London Branch and its UK subsidiary.

Position Summary:

You will be responsible for implementing the banking book, bond investment and bond issuance strategies.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES AND REQUIREMENTS
 Responsible for implementing the banking book bond investment and bond issuance strategy
 Support the Treasury Markets business in providing stable funding for business development and ensuring liquidity safety;
 Responsible for transaction data analysis and ongoing system upgrade.
Person Specification:

 Degree educated in Banking or Finance or equivalent;
 Relevant professional qualification as required (i.e. PRA/FCA Registered Exams) or exemptions, or willingness to undertake relevant qualifications;
 Demonstrated experience in a similar banking background;
 Knowledge of Financial Markets products and regulatory compliance;
 Good problem-solving skills and capacity to work under pressure;
 Desire to drive projects from ideation or assignment to execution;
