VP of Operations– Expanding QSR

Location: New York

Salary: $150,000-180,000 + Bonus + Benefits

Our client is an incredible organic, sustainable restaurant group that is growing rapidly!  They currently have a strong presence in the NYC market but are looking to aggressively expand that over the next 3-4 years.

We are looking for an experienced VP of Ops that can grow into a COO role, someone who can help grow the business and be hands on with the day to day operations.
Ideally also someone who comes from the Fast Casual or Casual Dining industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement business strategies, plans and procedures
• Set comprehensive goals for performance and growth
• Establish policies that promote company culture and vision
• Oversee daily operations of the company and the work of executives (IT, Marketing, HR, Finance etc.)
• Lead employees to encourage maximum performance and dedication
• Evaluate performance by analyzing and interpreting data and metrics
• Write and submit reports to the CEO in all matters of importance
• Participate in expansion activities (investments, acquisitions, corporate alliances etc.)
• Manage relationships with partners/vendors

Key Requirements:

• Vast work experience as Chief Operating Officer with large restaurant/amusement/entertainment chains that operate in numerous cities
• Master’s degree in business administration, hospitality management or hotel management
• Understanding of business functions such as HR, Finance, marketing etc.
• Demonstrable competency in strategic planning and business development
• Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics
• Working knowledge of IT/Business infrastructure and MS Office
• Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities
• Excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills
• Aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving
