We are currently partnered with a global organisation in the financial sector who are seeking a skilled Threat and Vulnerability Lead to join their Cyber Security function.
As the Vulnerability Management Lead, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the security posture of the organisation. This position is based in London (Hybrid 1-2 days per week in office) and requires an experienced professional with a deep understanding of cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities, particularly within the financial services industry.
Responsibilities:
- Threat Intelligence Management: Monitor and analyse the threat landscape, providing timely intelligence to enhance security posture.
- Vulnerability Assessment: Conduct regular vulnerability assessments across the organisation's systems and networks.
- Security Patch Management: Develop and implement robust patch management processes to mitigate vulnerabilities promptly.
- Risk Assessment: Conduct risk assessments to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities, providing mitigation strategies.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, compliance, and risk management, to align security measures with business objectives.
- Security Awareness: Develop and deliver security awareness training for employees to enhance the overall security culture.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar role within the financial services sector.
- In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and risk management.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to financial data security.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
