Restaurant and Bar
- To ensure all restaurant and Bar areas are clean and tables are set in the approved way.
- To have an understanding of the restaurant till and Liveres booking systems.
- To make sure all fridges and shelves are fully stocked throughout service.
- To ensure all cutlery and glassware are cleaned to a high standard.
- To apply an understanding of the restaurant and Bar layout to allow for decisions on where best to seat customers.
- To follow opening and closedown instructions so that the bar and restaurant are clean and prepared for the next service.
- Have a strong knowledge of the food and beverage menu, asking questions when unsure on specific areas and using this knowledge to up sell effectively, encouraging maximum spend from customers.
- Take accurate customer orders to ensure customer satisfaction is met.
- If over 18, ensure all drinks are made and delivered quickly and all areas behind the bar are clean and clear.
Customer Service
- To take bookings for the restaurant, obtaining all information that is required to create a full and accurate reservation.
- To acknowledge all guests and welcome them in a friendly and helpful manner.
- To provide efficient telephone support, answering the telephone politely using the approved greeting and passing on relevant information to specific departments.
- To assist all visitors and clients by passing on messages correctly and in good time, providing assistance wherever possible and immediately seeking assistance when necessary.
- To make recommendations where appropriate in the provision of improved customer service.
- To have a knowledge of all promotions happening within the resort.
- To accurately deliver the bill to customers, promptly deal with queries and process through till.
Managing Relationships
- To have an understanding of the kitchens abilities to deliver within set timeframes.
- Develop and maintain relationships with all departments within the company to ensure there is a good flow of communication and understanding of customer expectations to ensure that service meets expectations.
- Establish and maintain good customer relationships at all levels.
- Act as an ambassador for the company at all times.
- Fully understand the many facets of the business and structure in order to value different requirements and act with diplomacy to achieve the best possible outcome.
- To be flexible in your approach so that you can help out with other departments when help is needed.
- Encourage customers to provide a review on TripAdvisor.
