We are seeking a skilled and customer-oriented Server to join our team. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing excellent service to our guests, ensuring their dining experience is enjoyable and memorable. Responsibilities:
- Take food and drink orders accurately and promptly
- Deliver orders to tables in a timely manner
- Provide menu recommendations and upsell specials or additional items
- Ensure guest satisfaction by checking on them throughout their meal
- Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints with professionalism and resolve issues promptly
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, including dining areas, service stations, and restrooms
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Assist with setting up tables and preparing the dining area for service
Experience:
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to provide exceptional guest experiences
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of basic math skills for handling payments and making change accurately
- Familiarity with restaurant operations and terminology is a plus
- Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with kitchen staff
