Waitress/Kitchen Hand/Barista

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and friendly Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of hot and cold beverages to our customers. Your role will also involve providing excellent customer service, ensuring a clean and organized work area, and assisting with food preparation.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a wide range of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, smoothies, and specialty drinks
- Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences
- Upsell additional items such as pastries or snacks to enhance the customer experience
- Operate espresso machines, grinders, blenders, and other equipment to prepare beverages
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area, including restocking supplies as needed
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches or salads
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving any issues or complaints in a timely manner

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required
- Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and beverage preparation methods is a plus
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Excellent time management skills to ensure efficient service during busy periods
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Hospitality-oriented mindset with a passion for providing exceptional guest services
- Willingness to assist in other areas of the restaurant or kitchen as needed
