Job description

Weavers Lodge is a residential home supporting individuals with learning disabilities and complex needs, that may also include a dual mental health diagnosis, to enable their successful transition into, and participation within, their local community. The home has accommodation for 6 permanent residents as well as 2 rooms for respite, assessment and short-term placement support.

Skilled worker sponsorship is available candidates who have already been living in the UK for at least 12 months.

Shifts

  • Various contracts available from 20-45 hours
  • Offering both days and nights roles
  • Working alternate weekends is essential

Training and Development

  • Funded apprenticeships and diplomas

Job description

  • Socialising with our residents and giving emotional support when needed
  • Assisting with personal care with residents when required
  • Complete relevant documentation for the residents you support
  • Undertake cleaning duties in accordance with the home’s standards and expectations
  • Administer medication to service users
  • Attending meetings and undertaking training as required

You will:

  • Live within a 20-mile radius of Castle Cary
