SalaryOur client is currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Waking Night Support Worker to join their 3-bed EBD service in Telford. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing support to children and young people with EBD.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensuring the safety and well-being of residents throughout the night.
- Monitoring and managing any challenging behaviour in a calm and professional manner.
- Administering medication as required, following relevant protocols and procedures.
- Completing relevant documentation and reports accurately.
- Building positive relationships with residents, promoting independence and self-esteem.
- Collaborating effectively with colleagues and other professionals involved in the care of residents.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children and young people with EBD.
- A compassionate and patient approach to supporting individuals with complex needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations.
- Flexibility to work on a rolling rota of 4 nights on followed by 4 nights off.
