What We Offer:
Bank Contract
Hours as and when required
Working hours: Working hours are: 22:30pm – 08:30am Monday – Sunday, covering week days and weekends as and when required.
Salary: £10.95 per hour, in addition, a 20% unsocial hours enhancement will be paid when covering hours between 11pm – 7am.
Location: Holly Tree House, Bawburgh Lane, Norwich
Training:
Mandatory training for this role takes place in Norwich, training sessions run from 9am – 5pm and run over 4 separate dates.
The Service:
Holly Tree House is a four bedded short-term recovery house that works in partnership with the Central Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment team.
We provide a safe space for up to five Nights and give support to individual’s experiencing a mental health crisis but do not require a formal admission to hospital.
This role is offered as a bank contract covering hours as and when required.
The Role:
As a Waking Nights Recovery worker you will provide waking support throughout the night to those staying the house, ensuring clients feel supported and remain safe. You will provide crisis support when needed and maintain the security of the building and to complete the required domestic tasks.
The Successful applicant will be required to remain awake and support individuals using the service overnight so we are able to offer 24 hour support.

Among Other Responsibilities You Will:
• Guide and support individuals during periods of crisis
• Make regular and accurate records on to our clinical system
• Cleaning of the property during the night.
• Advise of local resources and sign post, refer if appropriate
• Provide a detailed and comprehensive handover to the team arriving on duty.
• Completion of risk assessments and other documents.
• Ensure all policies and procedures are followed
What We Are Looking For
•  Relevant experience within the mental health or care sector
• Basic computer skills, Email word Excel
• Knowledge of a Psychological Informed Environment Preferable, although training will be provided.
• Ability to engage in 1-2-1 and group conversations.
• Experience of using de-escalation methods.
