SalaryI am working with a complex-needs school in Walsall who are seeking full-time and part-time TAs and learning mentors who are able to support their school on a short- and long-term basis.
A specialist provision for children aged 3-11 years who have complex educational needs as defined in their Education Health Care Plan (EHCP). Every child has an Individual Education Plan (IEP) that supports their EHCP, unique to meet their needs.
The school has four departments, which include Early Years, ASC, SLD and PMLD, and whilst there is no guarantee which department you will be placed in, you will be placed in a class that is best suited to your experience, but flexibility to work across this is required.
It is located 4 miles from the bus station in Wolverhampton and 2 miles away from Walsall bus station.
With extensive specialist facilities, including rebound therapy trampolines, soft play areas, forest school, sensory garden and hydrotherapy pool.
Working exclusively with Special School settings in the Midlands, I can confidently say that all staff that work at this school on a short-term and long-term basis enjoy attending this school. Always commenting on their welcome, their induction and the training and ongoing support they offer to all staff.
