Job Title: Warehouse & Distribution Coordinator
Location: Gedney Hill PE12
Pay Rate: 13.44 per hour
Purpose:
Coordinate the Warehouse and Distribution function, ensuring continuous improvement in process, efficiency, quality accuracy, and safety. Liaise with customers, production supervisors, office, and packing teams on order/customer priorities.
Key Responsibilities:
Process outbound shipments, ensuring accurate boxing and labelling.
- Manage daily warehouse receipts, report errors and discrepancies.
- Coordinate and supervise daily shipment packaging.
- Assist with regular stock/cycle counts.
- Maintain accurate daily control of stock usage.
- Ensure compliance with Health and Safety standards
Experience and Skills Required:
- Proven background in Warehouse and Distribution (6+ months).
- Good literacy, numeracy, and attention to detail.
- Computer skills and ability to learn courier dispatch systems.
- Counterbalance forklift license (preferred).
- Strong customer-facing communication skills.
Physical Demands:
- Must be physically fit and capable of lifting and standing for long periods.
