Warehouse Assistant

Minster, a leading building materials distributor in Northern Europe, is on the hunt for a Warehouse & Yard Assistant who's as passionate about great service as we are.

Hours - 7.30 - 5.00 Monday to Friday

Minster, Challow Station, Faringdon, SN7 8NT

Key Responsibilities

• Help to prepare customer orders, load and unload customer and supplier vehicles

• Check incoming deliveries and report missing or damaged products

• Maintain stock levels in the yard and warehouse areas, carrying out regular stock counts

• Make Health & Safety a priority and demonstrate how you can keep yourself and others safe at work

• Working both inside the warehouse and outside in the yard, whatever the weather

• Work with colleagues to suggest opportunities for improvement

Required Skills and Experience

• Proven experience working in a similar role, either in a warehouse or a yard

• Experience in a customer facing role.

• Experience with Fork Lift Truck driving would be beneficial, however full training will be given

• Methodical, with the ability to prioritise workload.

• Good communication skills and a team player.
