Warehouse Operative (Colleague)

Hours – 40 hours per week (paid breaks), full-time.

Duration of contract: Permanent

Salary: £22,776 per annum (+ associated shift premium)

Shifts: Rotational 06:00 to 14:00, 14:00 to 22:00, Nights: 22:00 to 06:00,

Shift preference state on application.

Our warehouse and distribution centre in Middlewich are attractive for all the right reasons. How will you contribute?

  • Completing several manual handing tasks, with and without the use of MHE, including rework.
  • Ensuring the picking, assembling, relocation and despatching of stock is completed to the highest required standards.
  • Handling all aspects of goods receipt, unloading vehicles, handling documentation.
  • Accountability for the timely and accurate distribution of stock and goods.
  • Carry out general housekeeping, stocktaking, and maintenance duties to ensure the profile of the site is maintained to the very highest standard.
  • Responsible for Health and Safety of themselves and other team members by adhering to safe working practices.
  • Adhere to and follow Company policies and procedures.

What you will bring

Essential

  • A flexible and professional approach towards work.
  • A positive can-do attitude and a willingness to learn.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • A good understanding of Health and Safety and safe working practices.

Desirable

  • Experience of working within a warehouse/relevant industrial experience and shift work.
  • Experience of Warehouse Management Information Systems and IT literate.
  • A Reach and Counterbalance Licence.
  • Experience of Llop and PPT/Licence.
  • First Aid Certificate.
