Gigaclear brings digital happiness and brilliant broadband to rural communities We are a dynamic internet service provider bringing broadband infrastructure where there is little provision. Our internal and external stakeholders range from a village of potential customers, small businesses, thru to councils, investors, and financiers. We have a small army of field engineers and multiple complex systems.
The Challenge: Our business grows at 50% each year. This impacts on our warehouse and inventory management. We need ever closer and more sophisticated relationships with freight companies. Our inventory needs tighter control and accuracy. Space and storage need optimising & orders and deliveries need to be faster and more accurate.
Your Role at Gigaclear:
- Streamline warehouse operations to enhance stock accuracy and efficiency.
- Lead a team, ensuring strict adherence to warehouse protocols.
- Manage inventory records, audit processes, and safety compliance.
- Oversee the inventory database, handling material transactions and space optimization.
- Work closely with procurement to ensure smooth inbound deliveries.
- Conduct regular stock assessments, cycle counts, and physical inventory checks.
What We Expect:
- Solid experience in inventory control and warehouse management.
- Strong independent work ethic and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in data entry and software tools.
- A keen eye for detail and multitasking.
- Relevant logistics/supply chain qualifications are advantageous.
