Reed Business Support are recruiting on behalf of an award-winning distribution company based in Bradford BD4. Our client is looking to recruit a Warehouse Manager to join the team on a permanent basis, you will oversee supervising the staff, maintaining the inventory, and ensuring the quality and timely delivery of products.
Duties will include:
• Responsible for a team of 5 staff in a 12,000 sq ft Warehouse
• Ensure a standard of customer service excellence is maintained and enhanced
• Ensure prompt dispatch of orders in Warehouse, within 48 hours of receipt (same day target)
• Maintain and improve the recorded pick speeds
• Maintain KPI’s
• Managing the stock system, both internally and at our external sites
• Supervising incoming deliveries and outgoing couriers
• Maintain good housekeeping within the Warehouse
• Responsible for all aspects of Health & Safety within the Warehouse
• Responsible for handling all Warehouse staff issues and disciplinaries.
• Reviewing costs of all suppliers and couriers to ensure the business is obtaining the best deal and service levels.
• Responsible for ordering Warehouse supplies and obtaining the best prices and service.
• Responsible for managing Warehouse budgets.
• Limit the need for external warehousing through excellent bulk space management.
• Learn and Develop IT reporting capabilities to improve output.
• Planning and preparing for peak seasons.
• Conduct regular reviews of all Warehouse procedures and recommend improvements where appropriate.
• Maintain all Warehouse Process Documents
• Conduct regular informal 1-2-1s to ensure staff development.
• Engage, coach, and develop the Warehouse/Production team.
• Establish and maintain a good working relationship with Sales Office to enhance the Glick customer experience.
• Ad hoc analysis and reviews of processes and Glick presentations at the request of the Director
• Maintenance of building and site facilities
• Responsible for Health and Safety within the Warehouse
