The Warehouse Manager will lead Nuclera's warehouse operations in the UK, ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of products and parts. Reporting to the Global Head of Supply Chain, this individual will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of the warehouse, optimizing inventory processes, and implementing strategies to enhance overall warehouse performance. Additionally, the Warehouse Manager will play a vital role in supporting other departments by kitting and distributing parts to facilitate their builds.
About The Role
Warehouse Operations:
  • Oversee the receiving, storage, and dispatch of goods into and out of the warehouse.
  • Implement and champion standard operating procedures for warehouse activities.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
Inventory Control:
  • Monitor inventory levels to identify potential gaps.
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
  • Collaborate with the Logistics Coordinator to optimize inventory replenishment processes.
Space Utilization and Layout:
  • Optimize warehouse layout for efficient space utilization.
  • Plan for future storage needs and expansion.
  • Implement strategies to minimize product damage during handling and storage.
ERP Integration:
  • Facilitate Nucerla’s ERP system (IFS) integration to streamline operations.
  • Utilize technology for real-time tracking of inventory and shipments.
  • Train and support team members in the use of ERP warehouse management tools.
Fulfilment of internal orders:
  • Collaborate with relevant departments to understand their build requirements.
  • Ensure timely and accurate distribution of parts to support production builds.
  • Establish communication channels to address any BoM related queries from departments.
Requirements
  • Relevant degree or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in warehouse management, preferably in a global supply chain.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics.
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems. IFS experience would be a bonus.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
