Warehouse Operative
The Role
My client is a leading manufacturer in their field, who are looking for an experienced Warehouse Operative to join their team on a permanent basis. They have days, twilight or night shift available. You will be working in their primary storage warehouse with the position being a 'hands-on' role. You will be using manual handling, a variety of vehicles and computer systems to enable smooth flow of parts and materials from purchase receipt, through storage and supply into the factory.

Main Responsibilities
* Unloading incoming goods using counterbalance FLT
* Opening deliveries ready for inspection
* Unpacking deliveries post inspection
* Sorting used packaging for recycling
* Quantity checking
* Packing parts and materials in Fort Vale storage units
* Loading storage units into racking
* Retrieving storage units when parts and materials are needed
* Preparing unloaded items for internal distribution
* Internal distribution of parts and materials
Warehouse Operative
The Candidate
* Competence with counterbalance FLT & VNA is an advantage.
* Hold or will gain a counterbalance FLT license. Training and certification in the use of other vehicles will be provided in order to meet the skills & abilities criteria.
* Comfortable with manual handling of parts and materials in line manual handling operations
* regulations
* Understands the value of tasks and wants to complete them in a timely manner.
