The role
As a Warehouse Operative, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. We're a leading engineering, support and services company, playing a vital role in various sectors. In this role, you will contribute significantly to the smooth operation of our logistics and supply chain.
Day to day, responsibilities will include:
- Receiving and Processing Goods: Handle incoming deliveries, verify goods against paperwork, and complete the inbound receiving process
- Warehouse Operations: Utilise MHE (Material Handling Equipment) to assist in various warehouse tasks, ensuring proper storage and movement of goods
- Stock Management: Maintain stock integrity by checking Certificates of Conformity (CofC) and shelf life of products to ensure compliance and control throughout the process
- Order fulfillment: Accurately pick and pack orders for our customers, ensuring correctness, appropriate condition, and sufficient packaging for onward distribution
- Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and organised warehouse environment as part of your daily duties
This role is full time, 37 hours per week, (Monday-Thursday: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM, Friday: 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM) and based on site at MOD Donnington.
Essential experience of the Warehouse Operative
- Valid MHE license
- Basic IT skills (Microsoft Excel proficiency)
- Knowledge of warehousing and MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems
- Knowledge of warehouse (SAP) system (desirable)
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications for the Warehouse Operative

The successful candidate must be able to achieve SC security clearance for this role.
