Warehouse Operative

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Operative to join a busy team in Greenford. The ideal applicant should be a trustworthy person with a good work ethic, able to manage a variety of warehouse duties, and eager to help our team succeed.

Salary: £27k

Contract: Temp to Perm

42.5 hours per week

Monday - Friday: 7:30 am - 5 pm

Callout after training (overtime): paid extra

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform all aspects of warehouse operations, including picking, packing, shipping of orders, etc.
• Drive to customer locations for call outs (training provided if necessary - so must be a driver).
• Handle sometimes heavy items and physical tasks as required.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with inventory management.
• Operate forklift equipment (if licensed) to move and organise goods within the warehouse.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely order fulfillment.
• Maintain a clean and organised warehouse space.
• Adhere to safety protocols and procedures at all times.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Previous warehouse experience is essential.
• A valid driver's license.
• Reside within a 30-minute drive of branch.
• Physically fit and capable of manual handling.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Willingness to adapt and assist as needed in a fast-paced environment.
• Forklift license is desirable
