Work Hours: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
Hourly pay rate: £10.50p.h
️ Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments and verify the accuracy of the received items against the accompanying documentation.
- Inspect goods for any damages or discrepancies and report any issues to the appropriate personnel.
- Record and update inventory systems with received quantities and product information
- Ensure proper storage of goods in designated locations within the warehouse.
- Follow established procedures for organizing and labeling inventory to facilitate easy retrieval.
- Implement and maintain a systematic approach to inventory management.
- Collaborate with suppliers, freight carriers, and internal teams to resolve issues related to inbound shipments.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure a smooth workflow and address any challenges promptly.
- Adhere to safety protocols and warehouse procedures to ensure a secure working environment.
- Comply with all relevant regulations and standards governing warehouse operations.

Experience required for role:
- Experience of working in a Warehouse / Logistics business
- Numerate and literate
- Ability to use own initiative to problem solve
- Good communication skills
- Ability to follow instructions
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to work accurately and methodically
- Ability to plan and organise work
- Flexible approach to duties and tasks to meet the demands of the job
- Ability to accurately complete paperwork and count stock items
