Warehouse Operative

Jewson Partnership Solutions (JPS) specialises in providing solutions and building materials for our Public Sector customers, such as Housing Associations and Local Authorities. JPS Kettering is looking for a part-time Warehouse Assistant who's as passionate about great service as we are!

**Working Hours: Mon-Fri, ideally 4 hours per day over lunchtimes, adding up to 20 hours per week - please discuss this with our recruiter at screening

Location: Unit 9 Baron Avenue Trade Park, Telford Way Industrial Estate, Kettering, NN16 8UW

Key Responsibilities:

• Get to know our product lines and services to make the most of all customer interactions in line with our JPS values
• Help to pick and prepare customer orders, load and unload customer and supplier vehicles using a Forklift Truck to minimise manual handling (training will be provided)
• Maintain stock levels, carrying out regular stock counts
• Check incoming deliveries and report missing or damaged products
• Act as a relief driver for the branch, performing deliveries to our customers when needed in a 3.5t van
• Keep the branch and yard/warehouse looking clean and tidy to make a great first impression on our customers
• Use our in-house systems to process customer orders, organise delivery times, manage stock control and keep customers updated throughout their journey
• Work with colleagues to suggest opportunities for improvement
• Make Health & Safety a priority and demonstrate how you can keep yourself and others safe at work

Required Skills and Experience

• A full, manual driving license held for longer than 1 year
• Stellar communication and people skills
• Customer focussed individual
• Confident working both indoors and outdoors, with a strong focus on H&S
• Comfortable in a role involving extensive manual handling of bulky items
