Warehouse Operative

This is a fantastic opportunity to join as a Warehouse Operativewith British Gypsum. This is to be based at the Sherburn-In-Elmet site and with a requirement to work rotating 8 hour shifts including nights and some 12 hour Weekend days.

As a Warehouse Operative you will be responsible for moving stock from our production line to our warehouse and picking/ loading onto lorries our excellent quality products.

• Ensuring that customer requirements are fulfilled by picking and loading product according to a job sheet.
• Safe and effective use of FLT
• Responsibility for an area of the warehouse covering either raw material delivery or the metal store
• Stock rotation and control

To be suitable for the Warehouse Operativerole with British Gypsum you need to have:

• Experience driving a counterbalance FLT.
• A strong awareness and respect for health, safety and environment.
• The ability to work in a team with minimum supervision.
• Be IT Literate
• Be willing to undertake non FLT task regularly as designated by Team Leader
