Warehouse Operative

Warehouse Operative / Production Operative / Inventory Controller required to join a leading engineering manufacturer based in London.
The Warehouse Operative / Production Operative / Inventory Controller will be responsible for stock control, inventory, booking goods in and out of stock and moving products via the use of a forlklift for various industrial compressed air systems. 
 
The successful Warehouse Operative / Production Operative / Inventory Controller will ideally have an engineering background in stock control and / or warehouse, inventory management with experience on ERP systems, stock management software or similar with the willingness to operate a folklift when required. 
Package:
Circa £25k depending on experience.
28 days holiday including Bank holidays.

Warehouse Operative / Production Operative / Inventory Controller Role
Booking goods in and out of stock to satisfy branch and customer orders.
Stock checks on compressed air products to ensure the correct and efficient stock profile management.
Conducting stock takes in accordance with company procedure.
To ensure all engineering documentation is correct.
To load, pick and pack, operate pallet trucks to move heavy loads and move large volumes of stock via the use of a forlkift.
Liaise with various engineering departments.
Workshop based near Stratford.
Warehouse Operative / Production Operative / Inventory Controller Requirements
Previous experience as an Inventory Controller, Stock Controller, Stores Person, Storeman, Warehouse Operative, Production Opersative or similar.
Good knowledge of stock management and goods in/out procedures.
Experience on ERP systems, stock management software  or strong IT skills is essential.
Flexibility, initiative, and willingness to drive change in processes and systems.
Comfortable working at a fast pace in a physical role.
Forklift license is advantageous, Training can be provided.
Willingness to commute and work out of the warehouse near Stratford daily.
