Position:Warehouse Operative/Administrator (With FLT Licence)
Location: Peterlee
Working Hours: 08:00 – 17:00, Monday to Friday
Salary: £11.60 per hour

Job Description: We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Warehouse Operative with a Forklift Truck (FLT) licence for our client based in Peterlee. This role involves a combination of warehouse operations and administrative tasks, with a workload split of 60% administrative work and 40% warehouse duties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Warehouse Operations:

  • Operate forklift trucks to move goods and materials safely and efficiently.
  • Load and unload delivery vehicles.
  • Perform inventory checks and maintain accurate records.
  • Ensure the warehouse is clean, organized, and adheres to safety standards.

• Administrative Tasks:

  • Process orders and manage order documentation.
  • Maintain and update inventory databases.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and customers regarding orders and deliveries.
  • Perform general office duties, including data entry, filing, and responding to inquiries.

Requirements:

• Valid FLT licence and experience operating forklift trucks.
• Previous experience in a warehouse environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in administrative tasks and order processing.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
