FLT Driver/Warehouse Operative
Based in Smethwick
Monday to Friday - 8.00am till 5.00pm
£12.00 - £12.50 per hour)
Temporary to Permanent contract
**Steel experience is an essential requirement for this role**
A perfect opportunity for a hands-on, ambitious hard worker to join a small team of industrial professionals!
Main duties of the role will include;
- Booking stock in and out of the warehouse.
- Picking and packing items ready for dispatch.
- Working as part of a small warehouse team, interacting, and helping where necessary.
- Updating the in house system (simple IT knowledge required) with order and stock information.
- Operating the Counterbalance FLT truck to move stock around the warehouse.
- Flexibility around your daily routine will be essential - Teamwork required!
The successful candidate will have;
My client can teach the skill, but they cannot teach attitude therefore someone who possesses a good outlook to work is the most important over all else!
- Basic IT knowledge is required.
- Counterbalance FLT Licence is required.
- Warehouse experience is essential.
- Must have a 'can do' attitude, be willing to learn and integrate well within a small team structure.
- Excellent communication skills, confident in own ability.
- Good organisational skills.
