Location - New Hythe, Kent

Salary - £11.65 per hour

Hours - Monday to Thursday 08:30 - 17:00 and Friday 08:30 - 14:30

We have an amazing opportunity in New Hythe for a Warehouse Operative to work for one of our most prominent clients. In this role, you will be working full-time.

Responsibilities for the role of Warehouse Operative

• Picking & packing of customer orders
• Handle 'goods in’
• Production of samples promptly in line with customer requirements
• Ensure the use of Forklift, counterbalance & pallet pedestrian truck operation (License is desirable but not a must)
• Ensuring that all goods that are loaded/unloaded match the relevant paperwork
• Storing and rotating stock according to company procedures
• Assisting with warehouse inventory controls
• Assisting customers to load/unload orders onto their delivery vehicles
• Inventory rotations to ensure no stock goes out of date FIFO

Skills and Experience for the Role of Warehouse Operative

• Must have excellent interpersonal skills
• Must be experienced with a good understanding of warehouse activities in a fast-paced environment
• Have the ability to work collaboratively with other departments
• Must be a good timekeeper and able to work under pressure, quickly, accurately, and safely meeting deadlines
• At least 2 years’ worth of experience in the same or similar role required
