Job Summary:
Our client is seeking a reliable and dedicated Warehouse Operative to join the team. As a Warehouse Operative, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clients warehouse by handling and organising goods efficiently. This is a temp to perm position with full-time hours, offering a pay rate of £12 per hour.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and accurately record incoming goods
- Pick and pack orders for shipment
- Ensure the accuracy of shipment documentation and stock records
- Conduct regular stock checks to maintain inventory accuracy
- Carry out general warehouse duties and maintain a clean and organised work area
- Comply with health and safety regulations and company policies at all times
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily production targets
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar warehouse or distribution role is preferred but not essential
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Basic computer skills to update stock records
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team
