Warehouse Returns Operative

We are looking for a Returns Operative who will be responsible for ensuring a smooth and efficient returns process for the company. This will involve all aspects of the returns process from customer service to manual handling of returns parcels, issuing claims with couriers for damaged and lost parcels and warranty claims with suppliers.

The role:

The Returns Operative will ensure that a customer has a point of contact in order to successfully return an item for an exchange/replacement or refund. You will offer customer service via phone calls or emails to approve and assist with the returns process. Once the items have been returned they will need to be physically processed and inspected. Warranty claims and returns with suppliers will need to be processed for faulty items and claims with couriers for any damaged or missing parcels.

Skills/experiences:

• Knowledge of warehouse operations.
• Knowledge of international export and import procedures.
• Physical fitness to be able to lift, move, and handle heavy or bulky items.
• Customer service experience, the ability to use multi-channel solutions to solve returns queries.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in using computer systems and software for inventory management and sales transactions.
• A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt to changing business needs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £24,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
