LGC’s Sport and Specialised Analytical Services (SSAS) department provides a range of analytical services including animal sports doping control, human drug testing, nutritional supplement analysis, drug monitoring and bespoke contract research.
Job Description
This is a full-time position and necessitates an on-site presence during the working week. The role will be expected to provide cover for the core operating hours of the Stores function (8:30am – 5 pm).
- Receipt and booking-in of stock and samples for SSAS
- Inspection of goods received
- Stock control; movement of stock around site
- Unloading of supplies
- Place orders to replenish stocks.
- The role is varied and the job holder may be required to perform additional, non-routine and administration tasks
Qualifications
- The successful candidate will be self-motivated, enthusiastic with a positive attitude and willingness to get involved
- Previous experience within a Stores environment is desirable, but full training will be provided
- Good numeracy skills
- A flexible approach to tasks
- Good organisational and communication skills
- Good time management
- Highly motivated and willing to get involved
- Team player, who is also able to work individually
