Warehouse Supervisor

M4 Recruitment are working with a leading skincare brand who are opening a new site in Avonmouth. They are seeking a Fulfilment Operations Supervisor on a permanent basis.

Responsibilities to include:

• Provide supervision of warehouse staff (permanent & temporary) to ensure all departmental objectives are achieved through
• Scheduling work and assigning tasks
• Staff absence management
• Warehouse staff training
• Control and monitor the kit production processes and company procedures
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
• Monitor inventory levels and inbound stock to eliminate production delays.
• Make recommendations for replenishment as needed.
• Ensure all internal fulfilment is completed as per agreed scheduling and to the required standard.
• High level of quality control is required.
• To recommend necessary improvements to processes and controls when identified.
• Assist with general stock counts and annual stock takes.
• Complete the on-site induction for all new staff

Preferences:

• Minimum of 1 years of experience in a warehouse or fulfilment centre setting
• Understanding shelf-life management and batch control. Including FEFO (First expire first out).
• Attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills.
• PC Literate including Word, Excel, SAP, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and barcode scanners.
• Proven track record of leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to report on Key performance indicators and meet targeted service levels.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to lift and carry, experience with Manual Handling.

This role is starting asap and will be working a day shift. Hourly rate/final salary will depend on level of experience.
