Warehouse Supervisor

SmartPro are working with one of Europe’s leading manufacturers within their industry, who are seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor. The main purpose of the role is to support the Warehouse Manager by ensuring safety, customer quality, cost and delivery requirements are met. You will be responsible for developing an enthusiastic, motivated and flexible team by ensuring Health, Safety and environmental requirements are adhered to.

Working Pattern: Monday – Thursday, 6:00am – 18:00pm

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support the Warehouse Manager by strategically manage the warehouse in compliance with Company Policies and vision.
• Support with the receiving, warehousing, distribution and maintenance operations.
• Setup layout and ensure efficient space utilization.
• Manage stock control and reconcile with date storage data.
• Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security.
• Support the Warehouse Manager with rotas and assigning tasks.
• Set and Produce KPI reports for the Warehouse Manager.
• Adhere to all warehousing, handling and shipping legislation requirements.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Extensive Warehouse Supervisory experience.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Effective planning and organisational skills, with the ability to be flexible and reprioritise work as needed.
• Ability and Confidence in using a range of IT software including regular use of Microsoft packages
• A full UK driving license and a valid FLT counter balance certificate are preferred.
