Multitask Recruitment Solutions are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Team Leader based in Blackburn.
The Role:
- Plan daily workloads.
- Ensure that Inbound or Outbound are despatched / Checked correctly and meet customer needs
- Ensure all documentation and labelling is correct
- Ensure customers delivery address is correct on the despatch label.
- Ensure that resources are available to cover any areas in the team that may have staff on holidays or sick.
- Ensure all vehicles have been signed off with the correct paperwork
- Ensure a discrepancy log is recorded of all shipping errors by colleague and fed back to the warehouse management for review and target setting for next working periods
- Ensure End of day SAP / WMS reports are run to mitigate none invoiced deliveries
The Ideal Candidate will have:
- Two or more years of experience in Warehouse operations at either operator or supervisory level.
- Licenced to operate counterbalance FLT or equivalent with expectation to obtain further licenses as required for the role.
- Good understanding of written and spoken English to enable communication with colleagues and to understand written instructions, controlled documents and supplier order related documentation.
- Numeracy skills appropriate to accurately count materials and to providing summary information and reports for stock levels by volume and value, stock movements and analysis of stores activities.
- Willingness to support other team members and production management in the smooth running of the warehouse
Working Hours: 05:30am-2:00pm and 2:00pm-10:30pm rotating shifts
Pay rate: 12.29 + Attendance allowance of 40.00 per week.
