Agenda Partnership are working with a large distribution facility in Coalville who are looking for a Warehouse Team Leader on a full time, permanent basis. This is an incredibly busy role, which offers variety. Day to day, you will be leading a warehouse team supervising the pick operation, controlling stock rotation within an ambient and chilled environment.
This role will report into the Warehouse Manager and will be responsible for managing efficiencies throughout the distribution centre ensuring that targets and KPI’s are met.
Day to day responsibilities include:
- Managing day to day running of the team, including carrying out regular team meetings and 1:1s with all team members
- Responsible for the operations within the department
- Participate in continuous improvement discussions and recommendations across the facility and operation
- Resource allocation, providing timelines and managing priorities within the function
- Determines the handling of the intake of supplier deliveries
- Responsible for stock reconciliation of returns and investigated once received back
- Analysing optimal resource requirement and effectively manage resources
Skills and experience required:
- Prior team management experience within a warehouse or distribution setting
- Adaptability to work in a fast-paced environment and be adaptable to change
- Planning and organisational skills
- Automation experience would be desirable
- Experience with Warehouse Management System (Manhattan) - would be desirable
